Tstshbākíh Gíhm (Tstsh /ˈbəˑkɪ̞/ [appearance (act of appearing)] [pandemic]) is a subtropical City located in the Utièkíhf Noiē Region of the Tetburland.

The name Tstshbākíh Gíhm is derived from the Sylvin language, as Tstshbākíh Gíhm was founded by Zlèqte, who was culturaly Tauran.

Climate

Tstshbākíh Gíhm has a yearly average temperature of 31°C (87°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 35°C (95°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 28°C (82°F). Tstshbākíh Gíhm receives an average of 148 cm/y (58 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Tstshbākíh Gíhm covers an area of nearly 27 km2 (10 mi2), and an average elevation of 1024 m (3359 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Tstshbākíh Gíhm was founded durring the late 9th century, by Zlèqte. The establishment of Tstshbākíh Gíhm suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Tstshbākíh Gíhm which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Tstshbākíh Gíhm was built using the conventions of Tauran durring the late 9th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Tstshbākíh Gíhm is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Tstshbākíh Gíhm is is constructed arround a semi-circular spacious cobblestone mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The city has a defencive wall made from querried stone. The wall is equipped with a full set of battlments but the nature of its construction methodology leaves it somewhat vulnerable to siege equipment. That said, the city is well defended against anything short of an army. Unfortuantly, these cost-cutting-focused defences are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

Looking around Tstshbākíh Gíhm you immediately realise that the locals are looking back at you. All of them. Everywhere you look somone is staring back at you analytically, looking over every inch of you, your gear, and your companions. As you get close to people, their hands move closer to their belt knife, or dagger. You may want to watch where you go and what you say...

Tstshbākíh Gíhm's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its striking sculptural forms and often dazzling ornamental detail that characterizes the buildings general shape. The radiant colors, rich patterns, and symmetrical silhouettes employed by this style were backed up by rich decorative features including gardens, courtyards, extruded arches, domes, pointed domes, vaulted ceilings, elaborate painted and inlaid designs, and decorative sculptures.

Almost every community has some problem with bandits and highwaymen, but Tstshbākíh Gíhm is seriously plagued with raiders. One or more groups of persistent plunderers are hitting the community repeatedly, and they lack the necessary resources to fend them off or protect all their holdings.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century Tstshbākíh Gíhm was struck by unseasonably warm weather, causing a sweltering heat to smouther the land for 5 days. Tstshbākíh Gíhm lost 272 people and 128 livestock in the disaster.. The deadly heat is remembered by most as the Cursed Fates's Flame.
